This course is designed to provide general information and instruction regarding the hazards associated with operating Elevated Work Platforms. (EWP’s)

The course covers the following information;

  • Federal and Provincial Regulations
  • Manufactures Operating Manuals and requirements
  • Basic types of Elevated Work Platforms
  • Employer and Worker Responsibilities
  • Safety pre-operational checks, inspections and tests
  • Parts and functions of different EWP’s
  • Identification of hazards common to working with EWP’s
  •  Hands on performance evaluation.

Note: all learners must have working at heights training prior to attending this course.
